4 cups bread cubes (approx. 5 slices)
125 ml brown sugar
2 ml salt
125 ml raisins, optional
500 ml milk
62 ml butter
Spread bread cubes evenly in a 20 cm round dish. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and salt, then raisins. Measure milk into a 1‑litre measuring cup. Add butter. Micro at full power for 4 minutes, until butter is melted and milk warm. Rapidly stir in eggs with a fork, mix well. Pour over bread cubes in dish. Micro at Roast for 9‑12 minutes. Cooked centre may still be slightly soft, but will set as pudding cools. Serve warm. Serves 6.
