Hong Kong Chicken

1 Whole Chicken Cut Into Pieces
 Salt Chicken To Taste
1 Tablespoon Syrup
5 Tablespoons Maizena
4 Teaspoons Crushed Garlic
2 Teaspoons Ginger
4-5 Teaspoons Sugar
Cover With Enough Soya Sauce
Chicken Must Have Enough Soya Sauce To Soak Overnight Or At Least 3
Hours Before Frying In Deep Oil
1 Packet Chicken Thighs  (You Must Salt The Chicken Pieces)
Syrup:
1½ Cups Coca Cola       
2 Dessertspoons Golden Syrup         
Dessertspoons Soya Sauce
Warm Over Slow Heat Until Syrup Has Melted. Pour Over Salted
Chicken And Let Stand Overnight (If Possible).  Preheat Oven To 450°f /
230°c. Place In Closed Casserole Dish And Turn After Mixture Has Been
Simmering For 30 Minutes.
Serve With Rice And Green Peas Or Chinese Rice.
