Smoky Bacon and Cheddar Mince with Butternut

Serves 4 | Preparation Time: 10 mins | Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 x 230 g box Knorr Mince Mate Smoky Bacon
  • 150 ml grated cheese
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 800 ml hot water
  • 400 g butternut, cut into small cubes
  • 300 g chicken, cubed
  • 150 ml breadcrumbs
  • 15 ml oil
Instructions

 

  1. In a large frying pan, fry the chicken, bacon and butternut in oil for about 4 min or until the butternut starts to feel soft
  2. Add the sachet of seasoning mix, 800 ml hot water, and the uncooked pasta and bring to the boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Transfer into a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs and grated cheese and grill for 4 minĀ
