2 Pineapples (peel, core and dice)
25 ml (2 tablespoons) methi masala
10 ml (2 teaspoons) mustard powder
5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt (or more to taste)
200 g (1 cup) sugar
125 ml (1/2 cup) vinegar
25 ml (2 tablespoons) maizena
125 ml (1/2 cup) water

Sprinkle salt, methi masala and mustard powder over pineapples. Mix maizena with water and make into a paste – keep aside. Bring sugar and vinegar to boil and as soon as a thin syrup is obtained, mix into the maizena paste – add pineapple and simmer for a few minutes – remove from heat
