875ml cake flour
30ml baking powder
150ml sunflower oil
6 eggs, room temperature
30ml Clover Mooi River Salted Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a beer box with foil and grease with the butter. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside Heat the water, oil and cocoa together in a heavy-based saucepan. Bring to the boil and allow to cool to room temperature. Beat the eggs and sugar together until light and creamy. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix through. Add the water mixture and mix through. Pour into the lined and greased box and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted. Allow cake to cool and decorated with icing of choice.
