Serves 4
1 ltr Milk
1 Stalk Lemongrass bruised
15 ml Brick Margarine
125 ml Castor Sugar
5 ml Vanilla Essence
100 g Short grain rice
2,5 ml Robertsons Nutmeg
5 ml Robertsons Cinnamon
2 – 3 Strawberries sliced

Place the milk in a saucepan; add the lemongrass, margarine, sugar, vanilla and rice and spices. Heat the liquid until it is almost boiling. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Remove and discard the lemongrass.
Divide the rice between 4 bowls and top with the sliced strawberries and serve immediately.
