pizza-vulsel van jou keuse (vleise, kase, green peppers ens)
pizza sous/tamatiesous
geklitste eier

Metode:
rol die deeg in ‘n sirkel uit
plaas jou sous en vulsel op die een helfte van die sirkel.
vou die ander helfte oor en vou die kante toe
smeer met geklitste eier en bak teen 180 grade celcius vir 15 – 20 minute
* Bedien met ‘n lekker slaai!

Cheesecake Puff Pastry Pie (My Weergawe)

Cheesecake Puff Pastry Pie

Ingredients

2 x Puff Pastry Rolls
2 x 250ml Cream Cheese, softened (Roomkaas)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter, melted
Cinnamon
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Unroll and spread 1puff pastry rolls on the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish (or 8 x 8 if you want to cut the recipe in half).

 

Method

Combine softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla. Spread over puff patry roll layer. Unroll and layer remaining Puff Pastry roll over cream cheese layer. Melt your butter and spread over top of pastry rolls. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 20-30 minutes in 350F – 180 C oven until bubbly and slightly browned. Drizzle with a little honey if you like. Let cool a bit, slice and eat.

Alles droog en natuurlik fyn gemaal. Meng goed en berg in n lugdigte houer.

FARMHOUSE  CHICKEN  PIE  WITH  CORN  CRUST  (serves 6 – 8)

Ingredients
45 g butter or margarine,
1 onion, chopped,
1 carrot, peeled and chopped,
10 ml mixed dried herbs,
salt & pepper,
1,5 kg whole chicken, cooked, deboned and cubed,
250 g frozen mixed vegetables,
1/4 cup cake flour,
125 ml milk,
125 ml sour cream,
410 g can whole kernel corn.
Ingredients Corn crust
25 g butter or margarine,
2 eggs beaten,
1 1/3 cup cake flour,
10 ml baking powder,
1 ml salt,
100 ml milk.

Method
Melt 15 g of butter.  Add the onion, carrot, herbs, salt & pepper.  Cook to soften.  Add the chicken and vegetables.  Make a white sauce using the remaining butter, cake flour and milk.  Add the sour cream.  Combine with the chicken mixture.  Drain the corn kernels, stir 150 g into the sauce.  Cool.  Spoon the filling into a pie dish.

Method Corn Crust
Cream together the butter and eggs.  Fold in the sifted dry ingredients, together with the remaining corn kernels and enough milk to give a soft, dropping consistency (or use the canned juice form the corn).  Spoon over the chicken mixture.  Bake in a preheated oven, 220°C, until golden brown, about 20 – 25 minutes.

Method Microwave
Microwave on 70% power for 10 – 12 minutes.  Place under a pre-heated grill to brown.  Serve with fresh vegetables.

Fish Pie (Banting)

Ingredients: (serves 6) )
400g tin of pilchards in brine
1 chopped onion
30 ml coconut oil
30 ml coconut flour
3 eggs
250 ml ful cream milk
250 ml grated cheese
salt
ground black pepper
5ml oregano

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a pie dish.
Drain the pilchards and mash them with a fork lightly fry the onions in the coconut oil Add the onion to the fish and stir.
Now add the coconut flour and eggs and stir well.
Lastly, add the milk, cheese and seasoning.
Pour all this into your pie dish and bake for 30 minutes.
The pie firms up on standing, so leave it for 10 minutes before slicing.

1 Pak skilferkorsdeeg
500 ml Choc Chip koekiemengsel
250 g Botter
2 Eiers
250 ml Semi soet sjokolade stukkies (chips)
8 Roomyslepels roomys
125 ml Karamelsous
125 ml Sjokoladesous
250 ml Klein gebreekte stukkies Toffie Candy Stafies

Metode:
Voorverhit die oond tot 180ºC.
Voer ‘n 16cm x 16cm glas pasteibak uit met die pasteideeg.
Gebruik ‘n groot mengbak en voeg die koekmengsel, eiers en sjokolade stukkies daarin.
Meng goed saam en skep in die pasteibak en smeer gelyk tot op die kante.
Bak in voorverhitte oond vir 45 minute.
Laat 30 minute staan en sny in 8 skywe.
Skep ‘n roomyslepel vol roomys op elke skyf.
Gooi nou van die karamelsous en sjokolade sous oor
Laastens word die gebreekte stukkies toffie oorgestrooi.

Strawberry Pie

Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar – to 1 cup
2 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup flour – all-purpose
pastry for single crust pie
1/8 teaspoon salt
whipped cream for decoration
4 cups strawberries – washed & hulled

Method
Combine sugar with flour and salt. Toss lightly with the strawberries. Fill the baking dish with the fruit mixture and dot with butter. Top with the pastry which has been rolled out on pastry cloth to size 1″larger all around than top of baking dish. Fold edges of pastry under and press firmly to rim of dish. Flute edges and cut gashes in pastry to allow steam to escape. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes or until crust is browned. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
