Sherry Marinated Wors

1/2 kg best quality boerewors
1 C (250 ml) port or sherry

Prick the skin of the boerewors several times with the tip of a sharp knife. Place the sausage in a dish and pour the port or sherry over it. Cover and allow to marinate in a cool place (do not refrigerate) overnight. Grill or braai the sausage to your taste.
